Series 2 of record group 91-278 consists of land records of the Wildlife Division of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources for the years 1967-1970. Includes correspondence, reports, and a few maps. These files detail the state's various responsibilities towards its real estate holdings. The land exchange file documents efforts to exchange lands owned by private citizens for lands of equal value owned by the state of Michigan. The lake level file details the monitoring and regulation of levels of selected inland lakes.
